Which cake looks yummier!? I sketched out this cake and I keep playing with the ingredients. I am making a cake for our 4th of July celebration-gluten free of course. Tom and I and the boys are going to a fun potluck type party. Of course, I bring my own food to every party, ha! This cake I am making a White Texas Sheet cake is so yummy, no one even knows I use gluten free flour. It calls for almond extract and my added speciality-I toast large flake coconut to put on top of the frosting! And my fall back plan for a side dish a Mexican bean salad with beans, corn, tomatoes, jalapenos and cilantro. It holds up really well in the heat and keeps in the fridge for a couple of days.

But until then, I am cranking on the air and putting my nose to the grindstone and pop some artwork out. Luke is headed to the beach today with a buddy from school-so I am free-free to work anyway! Ha! When he is home in the summer I try to make it fun for him (somewhat) Of course my fun- a trip to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and his fun-a trip to the Bass Outdoor store (I guess it has waterfalls?) are two different things.
