I had lunch today with a dear friend of mine, Michelle. (Hello Michelle and Caitlin!)I was explaining the holiday cards that I designed for Art House Greetings to her -of course I had to EXPLAIN how they looked because I didn't bring any along to lunch! Note to self: get act together. Then I realized that I hadn't even posted them on my blog either. Here they are-if you hit this
link, or hit the image to enlarge and you can see them much more closely and you can order some too, hooray! You can also go to
www.arthousegreetings.com/monicalee and go to "our product". I do have to say they have gold and silver leafing and the paper they use at Art House is so thick and nice, you really feel like you are getting something rich in your hand. For those of you who are paper fanatics, you will appreciate that! Even the note card piece, used as a party invite or a thank you, is on thick paper. The ones with the asterisks are designed by yours truly. I wish I had had time to do more for them, since I
love doing holiday work. I think this is why I still like to illustrate for the gift industry-it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!
The cards are sold for
$20 for 25 cards and for a small additional price you can have them personalized for those of you who have a great big holiday list. You can see there are several choices of picture cards so if you have a family photo I encourage you to send it on a
nice photo card. Please don't make me do my stationery lecture of last year about getting the long skinny pics of "just the kids" and plunking it a business sized envelope. Come on people!!! You send email ALL year long-send something nice to the people you are friends with at Christmas! Enough said...(until next year when I will rant again...there are sooo many beautiful holiday cards on the market! Take a deep pre holiday breath, slow down, enjoy the process, get your family involved and send some! It really does bring a smile to someones face on the other end! Enough said...enough said...never enough said...
