I just came back from a weekend in sunny Los Angeles, California. I just cam back from a visit with my best girlfriend Dr. Elisabeth Crim. Ha! it is funny when I type that because she we met at 18 years old when she shared a bag of snickers with me. We hit Manhattan beach, did some shopping and then we hit the Knit Cafe in Melrose. This is the yarn shop of the famed book Greetings from Knit Cafe written by Suzan Mischer. They were soooo nice!!! And they were absolute SAINTS of patience with me as I was choosing 2 new projects to knit. What was so great about the shop was that they had the projects from the book knit up so I could touch them and even try them on for size. Suzan and her sweet staff where just the bomb, I even grabbed a quick photo op with her! I was in girlfriend and yarn heaven all weekend!
