I was glancing through my Real Simple magazine and they had readers write in and tell their favorite "summer memories". That has got to be a fun exercise...that would be a good party opener-a good way to get your guests to mingle. I have had vso many good summers, laying on the warm sidewalk with my best friend while the sprinkler sprinkled sweetly on our backs. Climbing trees and acting like they were our homes like the Swiss Family Robinson. Learning to ride my new bike with its daisy covered banana seat. Now that I think about it, that was a Christmas gift when I was in the third grade and we were living in Hawaii. It was probably winter time . Maybe that is why all of my memories of Hawaii are so delicious because it was one perpetual summer. Think of your best summer memories and try to recreate them this summer (tell me what they are-if you have a minute!)
