I always thought that it was funny how everyone gets "stationery, stationary" a bit wrong in the spelling. Even people in the business.I have been designing some new stationery, note pads etc to take to the National Stationery Show and I thought I would post this design. You would not believe how long I piddled with these pieces. I wanted a 40's vintage feel and the images I started with where the hand painted tulips. I went through so many color combos and rearrangements. I landed on just the 3 color combo-there were so many more-ack! It as a general rule DOES NOT take me this long to design sationery. I love it, buy it understand it-if one can understand paper, I feel like I do. But this I really labored over. Vintage green, turquoise, I played and played. Did I get it right? I will post it and stare at it for a day or two and decide.
