But I wasn't sure, I mean, I have actually designed scrap packages and somehow got caught up illustrating other things.(Whihc has been very good, don't get me wrong!) I wasn't sure this was the right move for me. So I decided to do some online searching about "
digi-scrapping".
OMIGOSH, it is a whole new world. I can't
believe how much is out there and how great looking it all is. I got adventurous and took and online class today from
Rhonna Farrer about using brushes in
Photoshop to create your scrap pages. Since I must have skipped the lesson on brushes and have never utilized the aspect of
Photoshop, I decided this could be a good lesson for an old dog.
IT WAS SO FUN! I learned all sorts of new tricks!I created this layout with the brushes that
Rhonna designed and I learned so much more about
Photoshop, she was a terrific teacher especially for a
webcast class! I don't have pics in my layout yet-I am a bit behind the curve I can't seem to find all my photos just now. I know that sounds odd but when I switched my computer the got lost somewhere on the hard drive, I know they are here occasionally I run across them and think "Oh! That's where they are..."
See I was thinking if I designed digital scrap kits it would force me to get my act together a bit so my children actually have some childhood photos PRINTED, not hidden on a hard drive somewhere.
