AUTHOR: Monica Lee TITLE: Happy Valentines Day! and 6 weird things... DATE: 11:03 AM ----- BODY:
It is a blustery day here in New England! It was supposed to be a nice snow storm but it is snow and sleet. Ick! We are all snuggled in anyway. I woke up to this ring from Tom, it has garnets on the other side! What a sweetie, there is champagne in fridge and I am in the process of making Beouf Bourguignon for dinner. I had to burn off the alcohol from the Cognac, Poof! We'll see how it turns out.
So I was tagged to tell 6 weird things about myself. I am a bit stumped but here goes... 1. Every couple years I unknowingly change my favorite color, it shows up in my home decorating, my clothing choices and in ALL my art work.
2. I have always had an interest in politics, even in high school I was volunteering to work on the Governors campaign. In college I was the one of the the only female student officer. (Fun!) And the scholarship that came with it helped pay for college.
3. I am in the process of giving up caffeine (am I CRAZY?!) I gave it up when I got sick but now that I am better it is almost a badge of honor but I know it is just not the best for me and my body. This is a tough one! I don't think these are weird things.....here's one... 4. I have this really odd going to bed ritual that involves going to the bathroom exactly 3 times before I go tot\ sleep and a I sleep with a silk eye mask and must sleep with socks on. I am a freak, I know.
5. When I was in high school one of my first jobs I had was at Baskin Robbins scooping ice cream. It is the one sweet treat I can absolutely pass up now. Who would have thought that you CAN really have too much ice cream. 6. I can't eat wheat anymore and therefore had to give up one of my FAVORITE pastimes, eating cookie dough. Yes, I know there are gluten free cookie recipes out there but the dough is NOT the same. The kid in me thinks that this is a big bummer
