
So I am on this restricted diet until my intestines get all " balanced" again. And this is not for just a week or two. I am looking at 6 months no dairy, 3 months no cane sugar, rice, nuts, soy. I have given up caffeine and wine. I do smuggle in rich 70% dark chocolate and I still am not eating wheat. Are you getting all this? I am one big fresh fruit and vegetable. No chance of me packin' on pounds for the holidays. I was at Whole Foods supermarket wandering the isles looking for some type of "treat". I have no vices! I treated myself to bath salts and a magazine and a funky pair of fingerless gloves that I could have knit myself. None of this is working for me though, I need a vice! I have been picking up scarves and cashmere knee socks but really there is no vice like an edible one.
I am being clever though, the other night I cut up a pear and drizzled chocolate on it, not exactly the same as the bowl ice cream that my hubby was sporting next to me but hey! I am trying! I am open to a new vice or shall I say decadent treat if you have any ideas!
