I have been working on an assignment for a magazine story, the topic is wine, tawny port. This is one of the 3 samples I presented them with. I think it is kind of groovy. I will show you the one they decided on after it is published in Jan. I am really enjoying this new type of work. I have been feeling so good. I guess I was super low on B12 and now I am getting B12 shots every week. I have energy! Hooray, good timing before the holidays! I do have to drive 45 minutes, one way to my Doctors office, bummer. But my life is good and sweet and I have so much to be grateful for. I saw on Penelope's blog (Penny creator of Illustration Friday) that some friends of Alison her sister in law have set up a fund for her. The treatments that she has been getting at Duke for her cancer are not working and the type of cancer is rare, she may need to travel to other parts of the country for a different type of help. Time is of the essence. So if you have been blessed with good health and finances maybe you would want to read their story and help this lovely couple.
