I know I need to post some new art but I am midway through several projects and I don't like to put them up until they are done and the client is happy. First of all, I am feeling so much better. I feel like I have learned something big this summer about taking your health for granted or even your daily activities, just having the energy to do chores means so much to me! I used to get up in the morning write in my journal, drink coffee and pray a bit before I began to work. It was hit or miss depending on how pressing my schedule was, now after all I went through this summer I won't skip this time at all. Being quite and thoughtful (prayerful) helps "knit in" my daily outlook and schedule. Hooray! For everyday life! Sometimes we dread rountine but put yourself in this place for a momen,t suppose you had no energy or strength to complete the most mundane chores, fixing lunch for the kids, making your bed, walking the dog and then suppose you had no idea when you would be able to do those things again. You would be shocked how your perspective changes. Don't let "everyday life" keep you from missing your life right now. Luke and I walked the dog this morning laughing at how Maggie-the-dog still drags up and down the blocks. Sometimes all we do is look forward to special events or holidays, this year, I am taking pleasure in everyday, appreciating my spouse, children and work-even the tedious stuff! I am going to post some stationery prints that I was playing around with, I think that these are okay to post. I mentioned that I will be designing some stationery for a line called Exquisite Papers. I have always had a love in my heart for stationery! (boo-hiss for too much email!) It is so lovely to get something pretty in the mail, don't you think?
