These are some recents knits. (Some recent knits that turned out well...) The purple tank top is a pattern from Hollywood Knits. It is so easy. I cast on 36 (DBL strand worsted weight) and ribbed away then made a back the same way. If I liked circulars, I am sure I could have done it that way. The straps are just braided and put in where I thought they should go because the pattern didn't make sense. I have actually been wearing this! I am making another one out of some beautiful gold flecked yarn. I may ribb little sleeves to change the look. The purse started out from a cute free pattern from Rach at Circus Knits. I got carried away, since the ruffle part was so fun and made it into something a bit different. I had a hard time attaching the handles so that I could still open the bag. You can see I have an issue with not following the patterns. This should be my New Years Resolution...a bit late in June...I simply MUST learn more stitches and techniques so I can actually change patterns and know what I am doing....In the meantime.... I am in search of EASY halters or tanks and pattern that take small amounts of yarn and don't require much counting or skill. HA! HA! Pass them on if you have them!
