My sister and her husband recently visited and Ron took the greatest pictures of my house. He was even nice enough to mail the photos on a disc to me. Somehow with a degree in Graphic Art and several classes in Photography I cannot manage to take a good photo. I am so jealous of everyones Flckr shots. I think I used to take good shots when I had a manual camera...maybe I never did... I cannot seem to get them quite right anymore. You would think I would at least know how to compose a shot! I have taken a couple pics of my studio space and they never turn out like this. Anyway, I keep saying I need a new camera. I think that must be the answer! I need to get it right because I have been garage "sailing" and I am ready to sell some of my goodies on ebay. I have bark cloth curtains, vintage jewelry vintage tablecloths. I was making a pile yesterday wondering if I could really part with my finds. That's a tough one isn't it? Some of the finds just don't work in my home anymore and are tucked away in my linen closet. I am a firm believer of actually using my old linens, mostly tablecloths so I figure if I can't use it maybe someone else can. Hmmm, this may be a tough one though. I was also thinking of having an invitation only tag sale and inviting all my friends and their friends. This might give me the chance to see when people are happy with there "finds". I did get a cedar chest for $30 dollars this weekend. I am going to paint it a color called "Italian Ice" (it is Army green right now). PS I have absolutely no room for this chest but I ceratinly have enough sweaters for it!
