So the second Elle Woods book is out!!! I just received my copy. This cover was really fun to create. It arrived in the mail from my sweet art director who must have been led by God because I was having a tough week! I am trying to wrap my brain around a couple of recent events in my life. I was on a trip (work trip) to Ireland and got really sick during flight that led to me being weak and sick the whole trip. My poor husband had decided to accompany me and had to take care of me and barely got to sight see at all. So I have gotten really sick 2 out of the last 3 times I have been on an airplane. These episodes have been big enough to put me in a lot of doctors and specialist offices...blah, blah...Tests..More tests. I am sure I will be fine. I feel fine on a daily basis but I did have to pull myself off my trips to Paris this month. This has been so frustrating to me, I had cleared the space in my mind and on my art table to do this flying and then my body poops out! I have had to grasp that maybe even though it was MY plan to spend time in Europe this summer that maybe it wasn't God's best plan for me. I know I am much more productive with my art when I don't travel and I need to shake it off and get busy with my real passion, illustrating! Life is confusing sometimes. I have had remind myself of other times I thought I was headed in one direction and was derailed into a much better place.
