This weekend was Luke's first communion! It was beautiful service, gorgeous day for the party in my back yard (that I was too busy to get pics of! Bummer). I did get a few pictures of Luke having his tie tied by Tom (aren't they cute?) and a family photo on the front lawn. My sister flew in with her family from Phoenix and we got to show off our lovely New England weather (thank God it held up for the few days they while were here). We couldn't have enjoyed her family's company more, they are so gracious. My sister was a great co-hostess for the big day. She is very outgoing.
There were 17 kids at the house and when I saw them all running around the yard playing "spies" and hide and seek I thought, "This is what I always wanted my life to be." And trust me my life isn't perfect but I am truly satisfied. Luke's dad and his wife were at Luke's party and I was just so happy that there is peace in all our lives. A good day for my son's first communion and good life for all of us.
