Finally, I have been waiting for the first Elle Woods book to go on Amazon so I could post the cover! So this is it, hooray! I had a great motivating weekend some members of my Illustration Group met at my house. They were so funny and we talked shop had munchies. It does get your creativity going. I read some of the article to the girls that I had printed by Luann Udell about "focus". She writes an on series open her blog. She says "At some point, you have to decide what part of your artistic vision will get your focus." She also suggested, "Do yourself a favor. Pick a few options. Pick ONE. Give it all your attention for awhile. See what happens." This was good for me as I have really been narrowing what type of art I want to do and who I want to market to and how. So even within the field of illustration her article helped quite a bit. So I am back at work. FOCUSED...ha-ha and excited to try some new digital and ink work for some promo pieces. In the meantime, I will keep clicking on the Amazon and smiling.
