Here is another new piece!!! And I have to say my head is really in the process. All the shapes, layers watercolor, what patterns to put where, I am really loving it. At first I was putting new additions in my portfolio and desiring to tweak my style into something more unique for the marketplace but now I am just completely "in my brain" about what I will scan next and paint next. And I guess if this is what is called the "zone" I am here because I don't really care if art buyers like it, I LIKE IT. (note: if you are an art buyer and reading this, ignore that, you get my point, right?)

It is wild to realize how I have learned to manipulate my painting style and the computer and how it began last year as I was rushing to get a package together for the Licensing Show. I simply did not have time to paint everything so through trial and error I turned to my computer. I almost quit painting completely but it just relaxes me too much to not add it in somehow. I suppose it is called evolving and that is why you "START even if it is not convenient". I didn't know where the Licensing Show would lead or all the work I put into spec pieces. I could have thrown up my hands right at the beginning and talked my self out of it for time and monetary reasons but I didn't and the path has lead me to good places.

I guess the lesson here is "just make sure you actually get on the path and then stay there!"
