There is just so much good stuff online to read! I can't keep up. Today I found this website through Kristen Fisher,
All Things Girl, it is great! And she asked me to be interviewed, she is so sweet and she is a great writer. Then I joined the online group through Cottage Living, that dicusses cottage industries ( a personal favorite subject of mine). I am such a dork when it comes to online discussions though. I can' t quite figure them out. The whole "thread" thing. I think I end up posting messages on month old subjects. I am a person that likes a real conversations, I write just like I talk and I think I can come across too blunt. If you heard my tone of voice I wouldn't sound so bossy or as lost, really. Really. No, really.
Then I signed up for
Wynlen's newsletter because that seemed fun and I am always impressed with the European gals that have their website's in several languages. I guess I am just ridiclous enough to think I can learn French
as I work on my art. (you know on tape or by DVD...) That is about a crazy as me trying to learn French right as I was splitting up with my ex-husband. I bought Berlitz tapes and drove around aimlessly in my car with my small son, repeating french phrases and crying alot. I must come to terms with the fact that my 2 years of French in college are about as far as I am going to get on the whole second language thing. But I digress.
I also signed up for a daily email "Daily Prayer You" I found the link on
Becky's site, she seems so sweet, too and I thought, gee, I could use some daily prayer. Then it struck me after I signed up that maybe this is an email that wants me to pray for other people. Oh!
Oh well, I can do that too. Really.
I always thought that working from home would slow me down but I think I am getting a bit "overconnected". But it is all so nice. I still want to do
Tine's Studio Friday. She is sweet too, but all these once a week things. I can't figure out if you post on Friday or get the subject of the post on friday? I have only managed to get the
Illustration Friday's right because
Tom has started doing it and he just tells me the subject. Why is it all so confusing? Or is it just me, the lost girl floating around on the internet trying absorb everything everyone has to offer?
