Home from southern Florida in the nick of time. Our week was perfect. We boated, road Tom's brother's Harley laid by the pool and stayed up late and drank champagne. (It was also my birthday last week). We played with Tom's nieces and nephews (now mine too!) and they were absolutley adorable. They reminded me of little fireflies that would lite up your evening. It was so nice, we got a late flight out of Miami which was good, I think some are canceled today, (thanks to Rita) so lucky us. Speaking of lucky, blessed, depending on your spiritual space, on my birthday I got a call from Hyperion to do 2 bookcovers for a new series based on the Legally Blonde movies. A really fun, girly project for me. It's that whole "God is good, expect the best, make a map" thing again. I will get into that later this week because it is just so amazing. In the meantime here are pics and I must unpack, gross. I think I may run errands and ignore it all today!
