Here is some food for thought if you want to go deep today. Tom's blog is a good one. He left very frustarted today but he shakes it off so well! He linked to Andreas superhero blgo which frankly I have almost abandoned because I was getting an error meassage evertime I tired to post. I began to think I was excluded from some type of private West Coast club. Her post (always good) revolves around a quote "This is it and I am satisfied." (an assigment for a class she is taking). She ponders alomg with all her readers the effect of these words. There is merit to being satisfied but I think it symantics, if you say "This is it and I am grateful or thankful." You imply that you are satisfied and are hopeful for more great things, more things to be thankful for. I think Hope is a huge need for the soul and spirit. Hope is almost a vague and overused word but have you ever had times in you life that you have been without it? Yikes! I have and it and it is ever dark and grim. My dear friend Deanna had the odd task to plan her funeral during her bout with cancer, she bravely and wisely choose the hymn " Great is Thy Faithfulness". Truthfully, it changed my life. I still have the program that has the words printed on it-although I know know it by heart-"Morning by Morning new Mercies I see". That is Hope.
