I attended the Craft and Hobby Trade Show this weekend with my agent-we went to make connections and see Inky Antics my new stamp line, I will post a link to purchase them when they are ready. Wow! We saw lots of scrapbooking materials! In my humble opinion after attending the Stationery Show and this Show, Sracpbbooking seems to be growing at a nice clip. Lots of creative women out there finding avenues to express themselves. But if you are into embleshing anything head to your local Scrap store (I actually have one in my town!) If you are into paper like I am, it is like stepping in heaven. The papers can be used for all sorts of stuff. I think it is intereting how the craft industry works-"scrappers don't stamp their pages"..."Are crafters making things for them selves or for other people?" Made me happy to be designing and not manufacturing... Trade Shows are great though, you get a one stop shop into whatever industry you are interested in getting involved in, it is worth the effort. Anyway, I am off to Paris this week, have convinced Tom to go with me! Then it is back to work at my art desk...found new artist and techinque I thought was great...I will post it next time!
