Oh so lovely! Had a perfect (hot) day in Rome, it consisted of a bit of sight seeing, a bit of shopping, gelato, sitting in a cafe and it finished off with a wonderful meal in a quaint restaurant with wonderful food and good company. Sandy, the other flight attendant and I met an American living in Rome who we dined with who turned out to be a very talented photographer. He promised to make suggestions of the places to visit when Tom and I return in Sept. I brought home some goodies to wet Tom's appetite fro Rome instead of Paris. My dinner companions suggested we tour both cities, which is probably a good idea actually.
I so enjoyed the trip and conversations I had with people for the entire journey, the flight attendants who work this particular route and very senior (flying 30+ years) they are so professional and upbeat. I like all their stories, I also got STUCK trying to get home from NYC last night and ended up chatting it up with all the stranded passengers. When I arrived home I had been up about 30 hours yikes! How am I doing this? I don't even understand it myself (superpowers I suppose!)
