Busy fun Mother’s day weekend. When I picked my son up from school on friday he had made a flower out of construction paper. On the petals it says…my mom is special because “she loves me” “she washed and dries my clothes” and best of all “she got me a puppy”. It was a tear jerker, I tell ya! It is moments like this that makes accidentally sucking up little army men in the vacuum all worthwhile! When you are young you have no idea how consuming and joyful parenting can be, how tiring and frustrating, how sweet and fulfilling. My boys also gave me the sweetest charm bracelet from Sarah and her online store Zephyr. It was custom made with all my favorite interests, I just LOVE it!
