I just checked out Illustration Friday’s topic and it was “Nourishment”. Terrific topic. I returned from the National Stationery Show-nourished. It was so great to see some people that I knew and see how the industry has changed and to check out all the new trends. I also attended to Surtex show that is actually a surface/design/textile show which actually has grown quite a bit and seems almost like a mini licensing show. I got tons of business cards and can’t wait to check their sites out. I am such a big believer in having your website act a large business card for you. AND as you may see Tom rebuilt my site while I was gone. Is he amazing, or what? I love it (I can say that since he did it). This trip was very nourishing to me, I met with my agent, Sue Primeau, and Jackie Lewis from Inky Antics and Tammy, one of her other artists. It is just great walking the show and seeing all the products out there. I actually got to meet quite a few designers/artists and, of course, to me that is always nourishing! So I need to get my day going, I am feeling that panicky crunch of a deadline! Here is my nourishing illo!
