It has been great this week getting feedback for my illustrations,(some from my art direction, some from my agent and most of all from bloggers!) especially since I am trying a few new things. Nothing like trying new things before a big trade show. But I feel like my feet are firmly on a path and that is good for me. Here is a drawing for a stamping product that I am designing, a bit sweeter than my groovy girls like the girl below it. I had one this week day thinking maybe I had too many styles going on but I concluded that they are all me, even my children’s illustrations. I draw how I draw-I do feel like I have grown the last year, drawing children is different than grown-ups. But I still want to draw you into the illustration and make you chuckle or grin-at least smile!
