I am off to Paris today and I would rather stay home. In fact yesterday I jumped through hoops trying to get taken off my flight. I stopped and asked myself, who wants to be removed from a trip to Paris? I was tired and the idea of staying up all night sounded gross (it still does) and I have gotten absorbed in the art and designs I am working on. You know how you stall around trying to get started on a project and then it suddenly overtakes you? Well, it overtook me about the time I have to set it aside for 3 days. But I will go on this trip to a notions and knit shop and a department store and get ideas. I need to pick up some scarves also so once I stay up all night-and convince one of the french speakers to trek all over the city with me (I am still intimidated on the subway) I will come home inspired and with goodies to share...until then I think I will have a cup of coffee for the road. I will post this picture to be inspired, it is from my last trip.
