I was chatting on the phone with my mom today and we were talking about the front of Country Living magazine. I loved the cover only to realize it was a feature on a house in Fredericksburg, Texas where she lives. The owner runs a business called Simple Slips and she had made some slipcovers for my mom a couple years ago. As we looked at the pictures together, I saw tea cups hung from a chandelier and decided to do it with some of my grandmother’s china. I had finished by the end of my conversation with my mom and this is the result. Sometimes it is nice to be creative in different ways; it doesn’t take as much time as you might think and it can really put a smile on your face!
