I am getting excited about the holidays. I am supposed to doing art but I spent the morning Christmas shopping. I am having so much fun! I am simplifying this year And I think to some degree it is working. I always enjoy the shopping part anyway. I even decorated my sunporch/office....hmmm, I think I will go take pictures! I am back, this is of my mantel. I am so blessed this year being in our own home. What is your favorite ritual during the holidays? I like getting all my grandmother's glass ornaments out-it reminds me of hanging them on the family tree when I was little. This year I will let my sons do it (I think they are old enough now) I also love watching the Charlie Brown Christmas Special. I have such happy holiday memories-I know my mom worked her tail off! I will try to keep that in perspective as I make memories for my family.
