Halloween brings out the kid in me more than any other holiday. For the sake of sounding artistic instead of merely childish...I will quote Twyla Tharp's book The Creative Habit.

"There are as many forms of memory as there are ways of preceiving and every one of them is worth mining for inspiration."

I have good, happy childhood memories that live with me as if they were yesterday and I guess that's what inspries me to draw the way I do. Does it inspire me to dress like this and trick or treat with my son? Should I be mortified at myself? ha! Only so many more years I can get away with this without him putting a stop to it. But for now, he said his night was "excellent" and so was mine.
